Hi Everyone, Newbie here... I had my Fait Bravo 1.4 Dynamic for some time now and its throwing up some issues of late. Drives well and been very happy with it as a car. Recently its throwing up dash sensor warnings, like ASR and HILLSTART not available, Amber engine check light always on. It seems also the engine coolant fan like to keep running too, when car is running. My mechanic (in fairness he's quite good) rekons its the ABS PUMP UNIT. That all the warning electronics go through the abs pump unit and they fail. The unit has to be sent away for repair / recondition. Car would be off the run a week. ABS unit, sounds strange to me, anyone confirm this.....thanks

Welcome to the forum :)

Random, seemingly unrelated error messages are generally down to a failing battery. If battery history is unknown, I'd be replacing it, but in the first instance having the ECU interrogated for codes by MultiECUScan would absolutely be worthwhile. Have a look here to see if anyone local may be able to help - https://www.fiatforum.com/multiecuscan-members-register/

Hi, Further to my last post, the dash lights coming up were hill start unavailable, esp ,asr off. coolent fan was spinning. nexpeac computer unit shows PO115 CODE Coolent temperature sensor fault. Reset code,Dash lights gone out, coolent fan reset (off). All now seems ok. So thinking of replacing coolent sensor first, (rather than ABS / ESP PUMP). Any further thoughts.... Anyone had this issue.regards ian
