Panda (Classic) Cheaper than a 360 conrod.

Introduction

I have kept this quiet for months, but after 3 trains and one bus.

I picked her up. Only a 3 hour drive back.

A 1995 Selecta with 82k on the clock. :D

Shes a bit of a shed, and by bit I mean alot.
That makes sense. practice makes perfect....

An right. I know I saw somewhere online a CVT box works out at X% more power due to how it puts it down continuously. Back when I was at college I worked out the power to be similar to if they'd done a 1.3 manual Panda. So quite feasible you simply had him :)

I assume it was wet. I'd be very surprised if it wheel span in the dry. If rolling slightly like you say you'd reduce the chance of wheel spin.

Just don't lock up your wheels suddenly by slamming on the breaks in the wet. Stalling an automatic is suppose to be impossible! :p

It was wet.

Drag racing Panda's is the best and stupidest idea ever. :D

Almost wish my selecta was really battered so I could try and find out. I am not gonna ruin a 36k nearly mint one for the sake of it though....

One thing you will get away with though, and that it guaranteed smiles, fitting a Panda 4x4 cam. Those few extra horses do give a massive smile factor :D

Oh wow, I ought to get myself a Selectra then... :D
Also what always confuses me about these types of hyper-realistic car chases are, why half way though does it always cut to them like pushing the accelerator further down, why weren't they full throttle before surely it would be an easier win that way  Silly Americans :D

Changing gear also gives you 400 bhp extra.

It will just be a solid white single stage paint instead of a metallic 2 stage so no laquer, should come up nice if you polish it though(y) Looks tidy enough, the plate does make me laiugh though:D

How do you know the thermostat is working? Have you taken it off and checked it is opening and closing properly in some hot water?

Nope, the paint's murky. I can't describe it.

I gave it a proper run out and then got stuck in traffic, the temp gauge finally moved hit 90 and then the fan kicked in.

Heres a video, you can kind of hear the kettle whistle.

(I left my holder in the other car, so the view isn't great. :D )
