Panda (Classic) SEAT Marbella (Mk1 Panda replica).

i will get round to seeing this car at some point, i swear it!! lol
Best of luck sorting the 4x4!!

Thanks...I can give you a shout when the car is back together if you'd like and are not too far away. More than welcome to come along for a spin in it. If I don't get in touch though feel free to give me a nudge on here. I am easily distracted by things (mainly panda'ry things :D)

Ah poop, I forgot to put in a bid. But did notice just now that one of the 1050 badges is missing an edge anyway so maybe not lost out too much. Still think was probably worth a few quid. Will keep an eye out to see if it gets re-listed anyway. This has sparked off my search for a cheesy 80's style "Turbo" badge to put on the grille though

Also got round to uploading a video of the Marbella at Wiscombe Park Hillclimb a couple of weeks ago. I was feeling a bit under the weather so the practice runs were quite slow and boring...so only the 2 timed runs where I started to pull my finger out a bit. Still my best time yet and can see plenty of opportunities to improve having watched it back. I'll come something other than last in my class soon I know it!

had already seen it on youtube - i may have subscribed to your channel ;) car sounds really well (y)

Have you considered putting a recirc valve on rather than a dump valve? As nice as the D/V sound is on turbo cars i have had i have found throttle response to be so much better with a recirc valve fitted - well i guess its not throttle response more reduced spool time when coming on and off the throttle.

apologies if i have said this before, feel like i might have but too lazy to read back through the thread O:)

haha, it's a good channel. One of the finest on Youtube

The car already has a recirculating dump valve though; most standard setups are but they have quiet plastic ones I think. I bought a metal one which may be a little louder than necessary. But still not crazy loud. The wastegate makes the most noise really :slayer:

Looks great, if slightly terrifying fun.
My suggestion is more -'ve front chamber and/or stiffer front arb.. Car sounds traction limited and from static shots may not be making best use of contact patch under power or in roll.
Oh and a tight lsd would be nice too.

Yes it is pretty terrifying...and for all the reasons you have given  But also the spring rate on the front is far too soft (and probably rear although will see how that feels when the front has been set right).

The roll bar is perhaps a little soft but also the bushes on it are pretty shot so that would be a good start

As far as I can see, LSD options are down to 1 expensive option (Bacciromano) unless I can get a group buy of 10+ off at Quaife with the 127 sport / A112 / Panda lot.

http://www.bacciromano.com/?p=prodotti&l=eng&cat1=25&cat2=80&mar=4

Unless you reckon there is another option that is?
