Right bought this about 2 weeks ago . fiat punto mk2 8v year 2000,
85k on the clock n its due its mot so hopefully itl pass if not rather get the stuff thas wrong with ti fixed before i get it on the road alltogether before i make more damage.

this is what it looked like when i bought it. not much has changed atm but when it does shall post some new pics up.

things wrong when i bought it:
2 cracked wing mirrors
boot was dented in
2 front slow punchers on tyres.

Right from that ive just done some cheap tidy-ups nothing big yet.

firstly i got the boot sorted got one from my local scrappy for 60 quid fitted all eletrics back through etc. and worked fine



while i was down the scrappy i got the 2 new side mirrors i needed 15 quid each and easy to fit.


then i started doing the inside , because me seats were so dirty from the previous owner (and i mean dirty , tried sum cleaning products and the s**t just werent coming off) i bought a set of cheap seat covers to tidy me over , and some mats.



i also got new pedals n fitted them.



and new gear knob and gaiter.



and the interior as it is now.



next mods:

boot n bonet flushed.
17's
sub and amp installed with new cd player
tints
respray
exaust
induction kit.

looks like you have done lots in the past few weeks

the previous owner must not have liked his car

mm i dont think he did.wen i first had it i took the back seats out n i was nearly sick , from molded chips , to cake , to doll clothes all mushed up .

i just hope he didn treat the engine like the inside or its gnna be f***ed , got its mot now in 2 weeks.

personally i wouldnt have the mats, seat covers or steering wheel cover in but thats to individual taste
Nice clean looking, colour code will look good with a nice set of 16s and a lower

i oni got the seat covers , mats etc. as the state of the car jus wnted it to look a bit cleaner . soon as i get some money in i might get a decent set of front seats and new stearing wheel . yer colour coding is a must there's a scrappy down by me with mk2 bumpers so il jus buy some down there n get them painted to the same colour of the car. ..

nice project, not keen on steering wheel covers, but the rest is fine
