Do us ICE heads a favour and find some problems with your stereo and go post on there!

Cheers Donz, not wishing to sound ungrateful though, but I reckon I'm not going to change the head unit, not yet anyway, as nice as a unit that is, don't you think it looks a little lost in that facia adapter?

What I'm after is more advice on boot builds, as I've mentioned on the ICE forum (and with which Sando has been v.helpfull, cheers).

I think if I do change the HU, I will try to do a double DIN install, that should fill up a bit more space, but I don't think there is an adapter for that just yet.

i know what you mean james, why the hell did they have to make that standard radio so damned huuuuuge!

never seen inside a 3-door boot, but if it is even close to the size of the one in the 5 door then you could get a well nice install in there!

I believe that is a technical term, people in the ICE business use it all the time!

You should have a good listen to your favourite CD on a 'proper' stereo at one of the meets, you'll soon change your mind!

Did I forget to mention they're also a lot less likely to get pinched? Naaaahhhh, sorry but this is one blokey thing I'm not going into - I get enough booming from current speakers/stereo thanks the car vibrates plenty with them I think it would fall to bits if I played music any louder.

And excuse my non-technical terminology but it just came out....
