Heh Heh!!

I soooooo can't beleive what happened to me on the way home tonight! I was pushing 110Mph (trying for 120 since big cold air feed fit) past a slip-road and flew past el-coppa joining the A1. I hit the brakes and was promptly pulled over. After about 15 mins in the back of plod's car, i was treated to a producer. They said they've never seen a small car do that kind of speed and were astonished!

I think the plod's that stopped me were top notch!! I'll have to watch my speed in future tho, might not be the same cops that stop me next time!

15 mins of my time for a producer!?!? at 110mph, No Points, No Fine!!! I'm glad that's all i got!!!:D

Jammy b***ard, I got pulled for doing 50 in a 30, no points though, just said sorry officer in a girlie voice and got let off with a caution. Cheeky copper asked me for a date at the weekend, said sorry, working!

I got pulled for doing 60 in a 40 zone...let me off, but it took weeks to get rid of the taste :p;):D

the descent into insanity continues unabated

I narrowly escaped being done racing a mate in his 318i. Doing about 90 in a 40 (although it WAS 3am!)... A cop car pulled up behind my Punto, so I pulled over (expecting to lose me licence and pay a hefty fine), luckily he shot past and did the B-M for 38 in a 30 instead!
Put me right off road racing mind [xx(] although I was pretty proud that my then-standard 1.1 Punto could keep up with a tweaked 318i [8D]

Wtf? 90 in a 40, in a Punto? Are you insane? That wouldn't feel so clever if some drunk bugger walked out in front of you and you wiped him out.

I don't speak from my own experience, but unfortunately from my best mate, who was a witness to such an event. He has a A-class, and a bloke in a beemer went to take him at about 70 (in a 40), and just hit this guy killing him instantly. Couple of seconds either way and it could've been Nick. That beemer driver lost his job, his family and afaik is still inside.

Now I reckon it's never worth properly speeding on anything other than a biggish B, A or motorway. For the s**t that could happen to you, it's just not worth it[V]

I got pulled on Friday and got asked about the blood on my bumper.

The case was that I hit a pheasant when leaving my village and then b4 I could get to a jet wash, the rozzers got me. I explained it to them and they were ok and asked where the Pheasant was so they could reoprt it. PHEW!

You were`nt lucky Brickfoot...they did`nt get behind you in time to match your speed for a reasonable distance or get to check you on VASCAR. If they`d had the evidence you`d be walking for a month or two. But they left you feeling happy that you`d got away with it so I think they got one up on you!
