Need a bit of advice if thats ok. I have a 06 plate mk2 b and i've been looking at lexus rear light's for my car, i contacted a bloke on ebay and he had some for sale BUT! the advert states 1999-2003 model. Question is i know the subtle differences from a mk2 & mk2B are the headlights and fiat logo on the boot, but do they actually fit my car? as the seller stated they wont fit. here are the lights and a rear shot of my mk2 b punto....Do they have different wiring etc ?

Mk2 and 2B tail lights are completely different. Why not sell your Punto and buy a Lexus?

oki doki, solved that answer! Cheers, and i dont need a lexus, too much on insurance, tax etc. Cant find any mk2 b lexus lights anywhere or halo front lights...They are available for a mk2 just not a mk2b! :/

I think Essex Racing use to sell them but that was way back when they were popular.

Was it not a common mod back in the day to fit 2b lights to a mk2? Iirc they are literally the same with clear indicator.

However Lexus lights look gash.

There was a Mk2B on my road that had a smashed tail light during storm Barney. I offered my Mk2 lights as a quick fix but they weren't even close to fitting.

Were they both 3 door or 5 door? Iirc the rear metal work on each was different.

Oh, it was the lights from project "wet dog". I had completely forgotten it was a five door.
