in a cinema far far away, a young lad sat down with his dad to watch his first ever movie, and as that giant spaceship rumbled overhead...nothing would ever be the same again.

fast forward 20 odd years......jar jar fricking binks? his confidence was shaken, attack of the clones? snore....

but i did see revenge of the sith yesterday afternoon, and i have to say, despite a few drawn out bits, and hayden christensen turning one of the greatest villians ever into a petulant teenager, it was very cool, i walked out of the cinema at the end with my young nephew, who was bouncing around jabbering about the movie in almost the same way i had done all those years ago...i guess lucas does know what he is doing.....

Im glad you enjoyed it, unfortuneatly i am not a fan of star wars so i will be one of the unfortuneate few who is not of to see this film!

I'm looking forward to this one actually it looks like it finally has gone full circle back to it's roots and i'm glad to hear you liked it.

I too went to see the original when it first came out (y)

Going to see this Sat pm - really looking forward to it. :D Hopefully the soundtrack will be loud enough to drown out the crackle of sweet wrappers!

james, i feel your pain on that one, i too was plagued by phones ringing, jabbering schoolkids, wrapper rustlers and once someone having a puff, but now i have my UGC card, £10 a month, watch what i want when i want, including my many days off in the week, i can usually have a screening all to myself, just got back from watching hitch hikers and ong bak, the most in the day time is about 10 in a screening!!! the sheer bliss of saving up movies for a 5 in one day blow out at the ugc enfield is awesome!!!!!

i can appreciate what you're saying apple, my mrs has a strong dislike for sci-fi too, however she has warmed to it of late when i explained to her, certainly in the star wars series, that the stories and themes are age old ones of love, honour, betrayal, rites of passage, empowerment, etc etc, and they have just been transfered into a futuristic setting, couple that with a killer death star attack, ep4, and yoda ripping into count dooku, ep2, and you got something for everyone........where's my light sabre....vooom voooooom OUCH!!!

I have just booked my tickets at the cineworld at swindon at 9:55 tonight, taking my brother with me as I thought going to see it on my own maybe a little sad :D

PS may right a review tomorrow or somthing. (y)

Well I must say that this star wars film kicks episode 1's & 2's a$$ any day of the week and for a change the graphics don't over take the story line!

In all a wicked movie! (y)

I recommend seeing it to anyone that remotely likes star wars!

I think I may and go and see it again sometime as I liked it so much!

I give 9/10 (y) (y) (y)

Just felt a little rushed at the end!

lol... you may want to take the ending of the film out of your post, there may be some people who don't want to know what happens. :)
