I thought they were part of GM but Saab cant even pay the staff wages.
Shame Fiat didnt but them instead of rubbish Chrysler.

They were GM... when GM were in financial difficulty a few years ago they sold off Saab. and tried to get rid of GMeurope (Opel & Vauxhall) to Magna which never went through
Saab is currently in the ownership of Spyker which is a Dutch supercar company
Spyker have only owned Saab since January 2010
Must have already been turning a loss for them to get rid and the small spyker probably cannot afford the loses like GM could
