I hate football its a game for grossly over paid insecure metro-sexuals who do olympic grade diving as a hobby!. Bunch of bloody women. Its got the basis to be a good game but its not about the sport anymore its about the bloody money!!.
I thought I was the only one who thought this way!! thank god I'm not!! :slayer:

I know most people will say man united or chelsea but who else do people support. I support portsmouth as i grew up down that way and i am a long term admirer of millwall as they are my favourite london club. What about you peeps?
You're living in Cobh aren't you? You should be supporting Cobh Ramblers!! The Irish League is pathetic!!!!

Spot on Chris (y) Not only that but so called 'English' teams seem to be full of imported foreigners with unpronounceable names run by imported managers who are also foreign and have unpronounceable names. I've nothing against foreign players/ managers but I remember a time when you had to come from England to play for an English team...

The only time football gets interesting for me is when underdog teams upset the big players in the world cup. Go Cameroon, go Uruguay!

Other than that I'd rather watch rugby or even American Football - go Miami Dolphins! In those sports the players don't burst into tears if someone so much as breathes on them...

That would be the league they play in in Northern Ireland, for reference.

The Eircom League is not pathetic unless you've got a barstool glued to your arse and can't see anything not displayed on a 42" plasma.

agreed that too many foreign players can ruin the game but they are there as they are the best and they have helped to name the premier league as the greatest league in the world.

You know what I mean, the Eircom League, soon to be changed! Why do you think I watch it in a pub? The league is rubbish, no players and no money! Even the international team is terrible and you can't deny that! Irish sport in general lacks funds and talent. Look at the Olympics for example, what a poor showing!

A good game of hurling to sort the men from the boys (y) h.JPG
