Just wondering does anyone have one of these devices. How much do they cost to buy and how much are they a month? I think 02 do them for £15 a month. Is that for everything? Any ideas?

Its a portable PC/Phone with full HTML HTTP websurfing capabilitys http://www.blackberry.com/. On my 18th birthday tomorrow im signing up to Orange £15 a month and getting a Hello Motorolla MpX220 mobile which rocks .

I've been using one for a while now.

Not sure of how much to buy now, mine cost almost £300. I'm (company) paying about £37 a month and a stupid phone tariff for this one through O2. If you can get one for £15 month then go for it.

They are really useful for emails and access to the company exchange server for outlook etc whilst on the move. The only downside is that you can never say you didn't see your latest appointment, task etc or that you were out of the office so didn't get the email.

A safeguard from your company then Pole!

I'm intrigued (sp!) by these but are put off by the slow connection speed etc.

See now some of us already have such capabilities on our lovely Nokias .

Not sure about the tariffs dave, they should be on the website.

Helz, do you have full access to your exchange server? I know RIM are pushing their technology for symbian phones.

I don't have an exchange server so I don't know but it has a sync function with databases via the internet which since I don't use it I don't know, but that's maybe what you mean? I would go into detail but I can't find my manual

Yes Dave Sammi has the same phone as me but it's quite slow and expensive to surf the full internet. I didn't know she was losing net access, will she still have it at work?

Yeah that's probably it. I was looking at a Nokia to replace my Blackberry handset, dont remember the number though, 6810?

think so but she will be house sitting, think shes staying away tonight to get me used to it, not even got a txt

6600. I shall have a look for the manual and check out what this function is. Stu might know, he has the same phone and one of thosejobs where all these things are more important thatn mine.

Well on Orange 1000 data tarrif its £66 a month for 1000mb of data traffic every month.

My T610 can access and send/receive from my domain server using same settings as outlook uses I was dead happy, got two emails at "work" today and read them at lunch! lol
