delivery companies now take photos of your door to prove delivery well city link do at least.

that don't prove nothing he could take a photo then nick it after, i got a card through the door saying parcel is inside the gate, no parcel was there, phone up and they say its been signed for by some one called smith, then they asked driver and he said he left it behind the gate and would come back to make sure he got the right house, he never came we emailed the person who the stuff was bought off an he says it was signed by some one called smith and because i have a neighbour called smith they wont do naff all about it
everyone probably has a neighbour called smith
I dont think delivery companys should be able to let other people sign for the package unless they live at the house they are delivering it too, unless you say that the neighbour who lives at blah blah can sign for it if im not in that way they are fully covered. It wasnt him who signed smith, driver put card through saying its behind the gate, and confirmed it when we called. driver is just signing it smith himself

More info the insurance - it's more than 250% extra to renew because:
1. VAT increase
2. My car is no longer classed as standard? - to my knowledge the car is standard there argument - Body coloured bumpers where not standard, they were optional extras therefore it is modified
Same thing will alloys and sporting spoiler - all where fitted at manufacture when the car was built...
So tried other insurance comp's and the same thing....

i need a car to get to uni, train bill for the year is around £5,800
so i need to use a car, now coz everyone seems to have changed there policies i will have to drive on the motorway in an old car which will be a death trap if i do crash!
Insurance is a Flipping CON a rip-off in my opinon and yet we all have to pay it so the GOV can get there 20% share of our money! - i say this coz they FAIL to pay out coz i have Body coloured Bumpers on my car

Crash and kill someone, or leave someone disabled and the couple of thousand that you've spent on insurance is a bargain compared to the millions you could have to pay.
The only reason i pay it

Some brainless ponce sitting behind me about 3 metres away on the motorway, while I was trundling along at 60mph with my bike on top of the car. To the right of me was two extra lanes which were free of traffic, what is the need in doing something like that??!! :bang::bang:
When people o that to me i let go of the accelerator and wait for them to start to overtake. Then floor it away from them.
Or put your rear fog lights on to wake them up.
The thought of working until 5am, then catching a train from Plymouth to Stoke on Trent is making me feel a tad grumpy.
