Drink Driving

The legal limit is 0.8 I think, it would stop a lot of confusion if we just said the limit is 0.2, that allows for alcoholic trifles after lunch.

If you have an accident and kill someone while you're drunk or incapable through drugs you deserve to be locked up for at least 10 years and banned from driving for life. Your sentence should depend on just how drunk or stoned you are with the worst offenders getting life.

Just getting caught drunk driving or drugged driving should carry an automatic 5 year ban, if you're more than twice the legal limit you should automatically go to prison for between 1 - 3 years as well.

I know it sounds extreme but how would you feel if you had a child killed by one of those idiots that drink and drive.

It doesn't matter what sentence the government gives, if somebody killed a member of my family due to drink driving i'd give them my own sentence. Judge Jury and executioner.

I've driven a short way a morning after and decided I wasn't 100% so stopped. Never driven under the infuence.

Take drugs or drink anything alcoholic :- dont drive.

As for driving on the morning after being on the lash. I know I have never done it. For one I rarely drink enough for the morning after problem to arise for me, reason being that being on the lash leaves me with a hangover and I don't drive ill. Second My gran spent the last 40 years of her life a cripple because of a drunk driver. Third my mum has 2 DR10s on her license and is pretty much an alchoholic and I have no wish to end up like her.

I Don't agree with not driving after a night on the lash. Its completely different. Do you ever feel drunk when you wake up after a night on the lash?

Doesnt matter at all what you feel like the morning after, you could still be over the legal limit and have your judgement impaired,

I only ever have a drink (and i mean a few cans nowt excessive) on a Friday or Saturday night, never in the week cause i have to do the school run

After a night on the lash I just feel like being sick.
It's really not funny. If I have enough to drink to feel the effects of it I'm proberly gonna have a hangover.
In which case I ain't capable of driving, so the morning after thing really doesn't apply to me.
