Check procedure for entering code number sometimes it is not initiative
Plus wait minimum of 15 mins before trying

The radio says "WAIT" because someone has tried a wrong code too many times. You need to leave the radio and ignition switched on continuously until the "WAIT" message clears, then enter the correct code.

Depending on how many times a wrong code has been tried, the waiting time could be up to 24 hours.

Did you read the part where you have to have the radio on showing wait and the ignition on until the wait disappears?

The radio asked for the code.I put it in and I heard a bleep which I understood to mean the code is right and the radio should come on but it wont.
Any suggestions
