hi,
i am trying to power an amp in my boot but having many dificulties, does anybody know how to do it? my problem is that it needs to be powered off the battery but i cannot find a grommet to put the power cable throught to the engine bay! also i do not have a cigarette lighter in the boot to power it off! i have heard that in the fuse box in the dash that there is a fuse for a sub, is this true? if so could i use this to power my amp as i do not have a factory sub?

any sort of advice would be much appreciated

cheers

just use the tunnel that is used by the factory wire. It goes from the front to the back at the buttom of the doors under the plastic on the stepside.
Use a steel iron as a guide, like those used by electricians, and push it from the back seat to the front side.
Don't forget to unscrew the two screws at the front in order to get access to the end side of the tunnel.
I've used this method to connect a reverse camera on mine.
