My seat belts rattle some times on the plastic pillar cover in my Sporting. However Daver posted this

My Sporting has a small rectangular rubber pad to stop the seat belt catching/rattling.

How many people have these rubber pads, and can any body post a pic, cos I dont have these and I would like to see the placing/shape of them to describe them to the dealer.

You only get them on the passenger side, because if your in the car you WILL be using the drivers belt obviously ;)

I know a lot of people still don't use seatbelts these days,

superboy the Rubber looks as if its held on by 2 rubber plugs so you might have to drill the plastic or cut the lugs off and araldite them to the pillar

as for mats i was told i'd get rubber mats when i picked the car up i was told they where in the boot but when i got home i discovered stoneacre provided me with carpet.. so i used the mats out of my old KA I had better things to spend my money on at that time like a towbar (ducks)

as a result of this i decided to try a different dealer for my accesories been waiting for some rear mudflaps for 3 months now from a dealership in Driffield ... :(

chris UK Spot on

But i dont have a caravan but use a rear cycle rack which clips to the ball (far safer than those strap on jobbies and doenst mark the paintwork) And use a small trailer when i go camping.. Opted for the Fixed ball Brink as you would still have a bit sticking out even with the removable ball (n) and it was £100 more...

However i do find with the white brink ball cap cars dont park so close behind me and the tow bracket replaced the steel bumper insert with far more metal so if any one rear ends me they will come off a bit worse  Unless its a HGV...

I had that same annoying seat belt rattle when I first got my GP but it was from the passenger side though. The buckle was resting below the rubber 'silencer' and kept beating off the plastic side panel every time I hit a bump.. It annoyed me greatly until I discovered that, somehow, the buckle was back to front. So I twisted the buckle round the right way (which was pretty awkward actually) and it was resting perfectly on the rubber bit. Problem solved!
