How to collaborate Pioneer DVH-3490UB Music player and Blue&Me in 2010 GP?

Basically,
- the Pioneer is for Songs playback
- Blue&Me for Phone Calls.

Is it possible?

As far as I checked,
1. Blue&Me is not responding to buttons on the steering but the Buttons are lit up in MAR position and upon pressing does nothing.
3. Tried updating firmware of Blue&Me from USB port but does nothing (No updating/Installing status in the LCD).
4. The Pioneer music player is presently connected and working superb.
5. Tried disconnecting -ve terminal of battery for half hour: No success.
6. Tried re-fixing the Blue&Me board: No success.

I didn't checked the Fuse for Blue&Me as I dont know it.

The mileage digit is blinking when I turn ON the vehicle, Is this indicating that Blue& Me not working?

Thanks in advance

The Blue&Me module is separate to the OE headunit/stereo, but relies on it to be able to work (since - for example - it's not connected to the speakers). Best option would be to swap the Pioneer unit for one with Bluetooth which also supports steering wheel controls, and buy the appropriate adaptor cables.

The mileage blinking indicates that the CANBUS modules are not communicating properly, and the vehicle requires a proxy alignment.

Ok. Understood. I will disconnect the Blue&Me module then and look for player with Bluetooth.

I will do proxy alignment with FCA dealer.

Thanks Eklipze3k.

Disconnecting the two cable connectors in Blue&Me board under the glove compartment is just enough or do i have remove anything else?

I thought of that's a good thing to remove the blue&me module since it is not working and I am not using it. Also the module is getting power all the time.

Removing the B&M module will cause a canbus error, the car will need a proxi alignment to sort it out which is a headache and may cost you a load of money in the process.

Just leave it in place, if you or a future owner decide they want to refit a standard radio it will all work again as it should.
