Hello,

Would you say that my two warning lights are actually on?(Left & Right) seems to only glow the tiniest bit of the corners.

At first I thought it was a shine from the other lights but when they go off these two corners still glow.

My car failed an MOT last year but when they scanned it for errors nothing came up so they then passed it. My MOT is due next month so I'm a bit worried it going to fail again.

Any ideas on what this might be?

Cheers!

If the car has abs the light should come on for few seconds then go out,
To show you the warning bulb works.
Does your car do this?

If it does not do the bulb check and has abs then it should be an
MOT test fail, you could try the same place that you went to last year.

If I turn the key before starting the engine then all the lights come on including abs. Once i start the engine the light goes out but shows the tiny corner as pictures above.

Looks like internal reflection to me, where it comes from is the question ...

That is good all is fine.
The lights are not on at all.
I'm with Bernie light is bleeding through from somewhere else to the two corners.
Mot should be fine , if they say any thing the fact they come on and go off proves that they haven't been disabled.

Hi All, sorry if it's absolutely out of subject but can one of you confirm that pics can currently be uploaded ?? I can't attach anything @ the moment :-((

I've tried this again and found that the ABS light DOESN'T come on when I turn the key. I clearly remember it doing it before but I must of been wrong.

So as the light doesn't glow in full when I turn the key, does this mean it's been disabled?

Cheers

It sounds as though the ABS warning light has been blanked off behind the speedo. The feint yellow you can see is probably from the light being permanently on.

Daft test, but find a safe empty road, drive around 20mph, and apply the brakes hard. If you skid, the ABS is faulty. If you feel the pedal pulsate and no tyre skid, then the ABS is ok and you have a faulty light.

If you have a skid with no abs intervention, then someone has gone to the trouble of masking off the warning light to make it look like everything is ok, which should technically fail an MOT
