Hey guys,

I am saddened again.

I came home last night, came back out to go out to the store..
Put they key in, and wow it won't turn... it locked i thought.. so I gave it a good wobble like usual, but they won't turn even a little...

Now I have a car with wheels looking a little to the left, a key won't turn and a punto that won't start.

That is a Grande Punto 2006 ... Dynamic 1.2 8V

Im just wondering what could it be, and should i hang myself from knowing how much it will run me?

Just a quick update ... i won't be able to fix it myslef probs unless it is vey easy, since my hands grown out of the wrong place and steering is locked right now, and won't unlock since key won't turn! )

We'll take it for granted that it is the right key, had it being acting up before this? Did the key get damaged?

If the steering is locked then:

Put the key in.
Turn the steering wheel to the right and keep it there while you turn the key at the same time.

IF you are still unable to turn it, insert the key from the other side and try again.

As above in cmosfxx post. Wiggle the steering left to right as you turn the key. Chances are your steering lock is on tight.
