son bought an 06 1.4 ok for nearly three months - then he stalled it when he tried to crank nothing only sound of clicking relays. New Battery fitted no change, replaced starter from breaker no change. Mystified as cable goes from battery straight to soleniod. I usually can sus electrical problems but this has me beat - does the grande have a an immobiliser linked to the starter? Is there some sort of relay in the circuit. Tried to find cfd or circuit diagrams but nothing and surprisingly nothing here but loads on other engine derivatives with no definitive answer. Replaced battery with brand new. Replaced starter with solenoid. Neither has cured or altered the problem. please help if ou have experienced or resolved this issue. Many thanks.
