So...most of it was covered under warranty, others were usual wear and tear. Not sure about the dualogic, clonking is probs suspension, juddering is probably the engine mounts.

I think you're being a drama queen. See, for the cost to fix ALL those problems even out of warranty would probably total just one problem for the Golf.

had the car 6 months!
warrenty ended at 3 months
drama queen ? really.

the dude with the radio fade sounds like a drama queen
i sound like a bloke who is a bit pissed off.

I would just relax mate! Seriously a car is a car is a car things will fail on it. All you have at the moment is a generic warning light, the car is performing as expected, all the external lights are working, just relax it could be erroneous!

true true
but knowing me it will go with a bang.

i cant find the gearbox dipstick either so that annoying (duelogic semi automatic)
as ive had auto's before and there nothing but bloody trouble too (mrs can only drive auto)

also whats the rain sensor and hill break? oil pressure switch havnt a clue where that is?

oh well balls to it

Rain sensor only applies if you have automatic wipers.

Hill holder won't apply on a dualogic model, as it holds the handbrake on on uphill gradients until you lift the clutch pedal. Dualogic = no clutch pedal, so I can't see the hill holder system being fitted.

This actually sounds like a bad earth throwing up numerous errors?
i can sort of imagine that as when i rev it its fine.
i have had a warning funny enough it was rear numberplate bulb it was i first got the car, i have removed both bulbs and placed back in and the triangle went off about an hour ago but after turning ignition on (not engine start) and off a few times it has come back on! im hopeing its something simple now to be honest :bang:

ok so car has not moved all day and it was fine 2 hours ago but now i cant get the warning triangle off at all its stuck on, no text no bulb out nothing.
????

The warning lights are coming on on my GP when I indicate left but have checked the lights and they are fine but the message comes up check stop lights and have checked brakes and nothing out? The warning comes on only when I indicate left or when I go over a train track occasionally? I would appreciate any help.
My GP is an 06 limited edition giugiaro in grey. And also if anyone could help with the Bluetooth it will connect and then say no Bluetooth on the display. Also is it possible to play songs off te iPhone through the USB port.

If it's bothering you that much go and get the fault codes read (or buy MultiECUScan and do it yourself).

Coming back every few hours with a status update as to whether the light is on or off isn't gonna fix it! :p

Your right mate your right.
My oil light is on now and just checked dip stick and is verry low. So oil.....

Whats the best oil to put in it?

no owners manuel im afraid but i have searched this forum and found answer
5w-40 m2 ??? what ever that is. i will go to local garage on way home and get 5w-40 oil i mean is there much of a difrance?

Yah, complain about the triangle but ignore to check your oil , and when you eventually get around to do that don't try to put in the right one, just pour in the first oil-like substance you get your hands on.
As far as i know the t-jet engines use the Selenia K Pure Energy (- SAE 5W-40 - API SM/CF - ACEA C3)
Use it or search for equivalent from other manufacturer.

Did you eventually get a code reader on the damn thing? or are you just hoping posting on the forum will somehow magically fix all your problems?
