Hello everyone,
I’m experiencing an annoying issue on my Grande Punto 1.3 Mjt 75 CV (2005) that started this Monday.
As I alywas do, I've inserted the key, turned it, and waited for all the dashboard warning lights to turn off before starting the engine. I also wait for the fuel pump to finish its typical humming sound.
However, just as I was finishing this routine, the yellow triangle warning light with an exclamation mark
appeared above the display on the dashboard.
I managed to make the light disappear by starting the engine a few seconds earlier than usual. It hasn’t shown up while driving, and the car runs perfectly.
When I reached my destination, I tried restarting the car multiple times, but the warning light didn’t come back on. However, after about ten hours, I tried again, and the light appeared. It seems to be somewhat related to the car's usage time.
According to the manual, this warning light could be related to a malfunction in the external lights, a possible oil pressure sensor defect, or an issue with the fuel inertia switch. All the lights seem to be fine. From OBD reader no errors were detected.
Could this issue be battery-related?
Thanks in advance!
