Hi,
We have just put down a deposit on an 09 plate grande punto eleganza. I am so so excited! We have never spent this sort of money on a car before (unfortunately had to borrow the money!) the seats etc are immaculate and I want them to stay that way but we have a 5 yr old and a dog and i am realistic and I know what they are both like! I would like to get some half decent seat covers that fit properly and look half decent (hubbie doesn't want covers becuase we have spent money on a nice car, it should look like a nice car!!) Can anybody recommend any? We have spent more on the car than we originally intended so wouldn't be able to spend much, prob upto £50 if worth it!
So excited, never even looked at Fiats before but fell in love with this one as soon as I sat in it!:)

Congrats and welcome !
Hope you like the car and try and get some pics on soon as possible !!

About the seat covers, what I personally would do (and I know it might sound a pain) is get the cheapest covers possible and put them on whenever the dog goes in the car :D

You've spent all that money and you don't want to cover it up with cheap and tatty seat covers !

If it's for the rear seat the town and country cover fits ok. But with the fronts having side impact air bags you will need some that are compatable with the side air bags......

If you look on eBay you can pick up several cans of super guard fabric protection spray that effectively waterproofs the fabric auto glym do one too (lifeshine) which makes any happy meal spillages much easier to clean up

I got a set from halfords they do a whole set or front only the front ones are air bag compatible for piece of mind and they are pretty tough going had mine on for 4 or 5 month and not showing any where and I work outside and often get in my car with mucky clothes, the dirt just sits on top as the fabric is quite solid but there not anything like them tacky plastic ones like snap-on do. They are just plain black and are a nice tight fit and best if all they were just the cheap halfords own brand that cheap I can't even remember how much they were lol.

Anyway congrats on the new car. Get some pictures up.... We like pictures :D

Jordan.

Thanks guys, we're going to need a dfog guard for the boot too! not had a lot of luck with the ones on 'legs' before but i think thats what we are going to have to go for! I'm going to go hae a look see what they have in halfords tomorrow and we should be picking the car up on Tuesday!! YEY!
