Hi all. Never posted but very greatful for the info ive got from reading the posts driving the punto earlier i notice a loud air noise when accelerating. Any help will be very appreciated. Hoping its not the turbo :/

Could be a split Turbo pipe, check all the pipes for signs of damage first.

Thanks ive had a look under the car. Seems to be coming from under the drivers side headlight. Cant see a split in the pipe but could this be the intercooler? Thanks for your help

Thanks for clearing that up just hoping its not the actual intercooler. Could be pricey :/

There may be a product out there that you could maybe run through the system that tries to seal intercoolers ,not sure whether there is. Just a suggestion. Certainly worth looking in to and will be a lot cheaper than replacing the intercooler.

Great idea. Ill defiantly look into this when i find the fault
