I realise that there are countless threads for this topic but none actually discuss or cover the removal of the heating loom or how to change it. My heating/fan recently stopped workin on my otherwise bulletproof 1.4 8v 2007 active sport so I searched on here and I have found a replacement loom and resistor on eBay and have purchased them.

Has anyone carried out this fix and have any insight into how to get the old one out and put a new one in? It's coming up to winter and I could do with a bit of heat in my car, especially commuting from Leeds to Manchester every weekend! A steamed up car on the M62 is not ideal
