Hi all just need your help, my horn isn't working on my car, I washed it and then the horn went off like a long beeeeeep then to de activate it again, I pressed the horn and it stopped, then the other day, I was driving in the rain, left the car and went in then beeeeep it went off again. Now the horn isn't working at all. Apparently it's an after market one as it has 2 horns (air horns) the relay is working as it is ticking just no beep. What do you guys think? Cheers

is the standard one still in place? re connect it.

horn connectors of fiats for some reason fur up with corrosion and stop working so try giving all the spade connectors and what-not a good rough up with some sand paper and a file

The connection for the original one is there but apparently I have 2 after market horns look similar to original just louder I'll give em a good file and see though

Still not working after a file down the relay clicks when I press the horn so that's ok still need help guys any ideas

Have you checked the relay is giving power to the horns when its activated?
Checked the earth wires?
Taken the horns off and tested straight off the battery?

The relay is firing when I press the horn how do I test from the battery? Cheers fella

Hi, get two lengths of electrical wire or a set of jump leads connect the live (red) terminal of battery to one spade on horn,& do the same on the earth (black) terminal, as you touch the wire/clamp to the other spade on the horn it should work if it makes no sound the horn is faulty, WARNING at no point allow the ends of the wires/clamps that you attached to horn come into contact with each other. If you can borrow a horn from somebody would be easier if your not sure about connecting direct to battery.
