Styling Look at the new GP!

This will be great for Mito sales.

First they get Giugiaro to design them a classic, which just looks better and better and is increasing sales because it doesn't have the messed up noses of everything else: and than they give it a pig's snout!

This is because Montezemolo has spent too much time in America recently and allowed the filing clerks to play with the crayons, and let some idiot sign the thing off.

Seriously; I think this will actually hurt sales :yuck:

I want to know which idiots they had in the focus groups to decide that this would be a good way forward for Fiat!!

Ford workers on holiday, and pissed!

Well looks like my next Punto will be a Mito then. Frankly the front and inside are hidious - not a big fan of the rear lights either. I hate these centre consoles that try and look symmetrical with knobs in the middle.
They haven't even changed the bit that needed fixing - the cheap and nasty glovebox!

Not a good look. The Grande was a good clean design and nicely Italian. It now looks like an aging Hollywood actress with a trout pout.
I thought Fiat had dropped aping other manufacturers after the criticism they got for the blandish Stilo 5dr and updated mk2.5 Punto. Seems like they've had a re-think.

do not want, always get abit nervy when they release a facelift thinking are they guna make me want one, but thank you fiat im happy as is!

When i first saw it i . When it was second time i . The front is terrible...The rear light looks like a cheap mod.(n)

The front end seems to be the older version:yuck: of the car and the FL is the current model..It looks cheap..i m glad i have already ordered my GP and didnt wait for the new one..

The interior seems more refined though

And if the glove box really is no bigger what the hell is the point of any of this. It must have cost a fortune?

Perhaps it is just a teaser to get a public reaction

Is it just me or does the front look kinda like the same styling as the 500's

Front Bumper - Terrible, im glad ive got the current one
Interior - Not too bad, but no way 100% better than the current one
Rear Lights - Again, not too bad but I could take them or leave them.

As some have said, it seems they have tried to stick a 500 front end onto it and it looks cheap and tacky. All in all, the new exterior looks abit like someones modded it themselves.

Out of curiosity I tried to 'fix' it...

only a quick try but you get the idea...

Excellent work.

Now, apply for a job with Fiat Style Centre and do something about this abomination before they start the presses.

Somebody in Turin deserves a good slap!

By the way; did you notice how the swage lines (?) on the bonnet don't even try to line up with the new gills - or the other way round of course? Just another example of the botched horror of the thing.

That is hideous!

The front end looks like they have tried to cross a peugeot with a fiesta and the interior looks ****e, like something out of a cheap korean hatch with a focus stereo in the middle.
Back lights look like some cheap aftermarket ones.

The best thing about the exterior of the GP is the clean lines and uncluttered front, this just ruins it.

That's gross, hideous, vile, disgusting and frankly awful. But the one thing I find most shocking? The fact that they have got a great looking car and taken design cues from a sodding Rover 25 Streetwise!
