Hi guys,
What about resetting the service interval via EOBD? Did anybody of you find a way to do it for a Grande Punto?

Searched :) YAY

LOL anyhow, Adam what make/model interface have you got? Tried PCMSCAN out earlier with my old ODB2 cable (used to work on the sei, bravo and the 156) and it wont play ball with the GPS.

Hi,

I need to know the protocol for the GP for purchasing the bluetooth OBD 2 scanner. Kindly help.

Regards,
Kailash

Check the FiatEcuScan software http://www.fiatecuscan.net . With an Elm interface (do yourself a favor and buy a genuine one, won't cost much more than a clone and save you from trouble) pretty much can be done!

I have been to the FIAT Ecu scan site but did not understand the protocol. I had purchased a bluetooth ELM 327 1.4 but the ebay seller told me that it will not be compatible with my car. Hence he refunded my money. The protocols that the bluetooth supported were as follows

SAE J1850 PWM (41.6 kbaud)SAE J1850 VPM (10.4 kbaud)SAE J1939ISO 9141-2 (5 baud init.10.4 kbaud)ISO14230-4 KWP(5 baud init.10.4 kbaud)ISO14230-4 KWP(fast init.10.4 kbaud)ISO15765-4 CAN (11 baud init.500 kbaud)ISO15765-4 CAN (29 baud init.500 kbaud)ISO15765-4 CAN (11 baud init.250 kbaud)ISO15765-4 CAN (29 baud init.250 kbaud)ISO15765-4 CAN (29 /11baud init.250 kbaud)
Not sure if any of these protocols are supported by FIAT GP MJD

Kindly advice
