After looking around for a black splitter for the GPS, I finally decided on something that would look good, without looking obvious. Bought directly from SEAT I decided on the black plastic splitter which is found on SEAT Leon Cupra R's.

It was a ballache to fit, but with some modification and 20 fags, it was fitted.

I got this from SEAT for 17 quid (usually £25), it comes up great with megs tyre shine and theres no need for painting. Add the £3 I payed for two packs of self tappers and I think I've had a bargain.

Heres a few pics, and it looks alot better in the metal.

The first of a few things in the pipeline.

Aplogies for the picture quality, check the 175bhp ST in the background :yum:

Looks awesome. (y)

How much trouble did you have to go to, to fit it? Think this might catch on lol.

Very nice addition Kris! Sounds like it was some mission to get it on though.

Changing subject a bit but is the ST owned by someone you know and if it is what's the performance like compared to your Grande P?

Thanks for all the comments everyone!

Once I'd worked out the best way to put it on it wasn't too bad to fit.
Basically, the width of the splitter needs to have parts completely cut out, so to take away rigidity and make it more flexible for the application. But yes a bit of a mission, but I quite like the end result so it's all wort it. Took me and a friend about two hours to fit. Plenty if holding it in place and bending parts in and out and quickly screwing it in :bang:

The middle recess of the splitter is the exact same length as the lower grill which helps with the factory look, I wanted it to look factory so i'm happy with the comments made!

I don't mind anybody copying. I think I was quite lucky to get the finish I wanted first time. But for 20 odd quid, give it a go.

PEZZ: Yes I know the owner of the ST, when it had a miltek flexi pipe back exhaust there was nothing in it (apart from some rolling starts where I was a bit quicker), but he now has a full miltek manifold and indution kit and it is noticeably quicker. It's been Rolling roaded at 174bhp and we seemed pretty much the same yesterday but we'll see. But as far as standard STs go you won't have any issues with them ;)

That looks the nuts Kris i think i may be copying this idea from you too, can you get a few more pictures from the front? Does it cover up the black rubber thing that hangs down from underneath the front bumper?

Thanks, yes it covers the strip under the bumper from sight, I've got a few more pics i'll stick them up in a bit.
