Just read through the Faults/issues and saw this. It doesn't always happen, but i do hear something. Sounds like its coming from the front passengers side. Could this just be linked with when i crashed?

That happens to me to, only sometimes mine sounds like the rear right.

The front of mine did it and it needed a new steering rack which seemed to sort it.
The back now does it. joy.

its a droplink suspension problem. happened on mine, nothing serious but its a common fault

I had endless problems with knocking/thumping over bumps with my 1.3 Multijet Dynamic and had the steering rack, anti-roll bar, shock absorbers and mounts replaced in attempts to overcome the problem. Please see for more:

Eventually I sold the car back to the garage but I think the nearside wheel bearing had failed. If I went fast around roundabouts a grinding noise was eventually replaced by a grating noise like the disc rubbing against something.

I get the exact same noises when going round roundabouts etc. still trying to get it sorted.

Damn! That is not what I wanted to hear. The good deal I obtained on my Dynamic was subject to my purchasing another Fiat - so I now have a 1.9 Multijet Sporting. Please see new thread!
