Does anyone know if the 1.9 Sporting has a thicker anti-roll bar to the 1.4 Petrol, low speed roll is greater than I would like so would the diesel one fit? and consequently can I fit one?

I don't know the answer to your question but I can't say that roll, low speed or high speed, has been a problem with my G.P.

its not so much a problem, its just that with its very firm suspension I would expect less roll on low speed islands etc, high speed stability etc is superb but the bar seems pretty thin and I just want a flatter cornering capability....

handling will be much better imo..

btw (off topic) auto_blanco; were you at santa pod today?

I would be interested to see what the impact is on the ride of a Sporting with lowered springs, and obviously the handling benefits..
i have been looking at novitec springs £106 but show 2 different sizes in one set they dont say how much they lower the gps they just quote it as grande punto diesel.they seem rather cheap anyone know the average price for springs?.i hear the name eibach mentioned a lot on the forum.much do they cost

That isnt particularly cheap when you look at the Eibach Sportline springs costing around £130, and they are one of the biggest companies regarding suspension modifications.

The Novitec springs lower the GP by around 40mm.
