Mud flaps / guards

Anyone else also think the mud flaps for the grande are crap? Stick out too much? (n)

Also, has anyone got an idea on how to remove them (rear)?

Cheers

Dan

Re: Mud flaps / guards

i was thinking about buying some mud flaps but now have been put off buying them. do they not look very good??

Re: Mud flaps / guards

I've tried removing them today but no chance.

They are attached by 3 screws, 1 on the underneath and the other two under the wheel arch which are impossible to get to unless you take the wheel off.

Would also be good if they used the same type of screws when they fitted them...

If I remember right my mate did have to take the wheel off to get it screwed back in properly.

Re: Mud flaps / guards

They look a bit naff tbh.

Need some writing on the bottom or something to make them look like they are supposed to be there, rather than just looking like a couple of flame beaters nailed to the car

Re: Mud flaps / guards

Mine are fitted differently to those and don't stick out nearly as far and with my car being crossover black they don't stand out nearly as much

Do yours have the punto logo embosed in them?

I'd post a pick of mine but the car is so dirty at the minute i'm too embarrassed for people to see it, so it will have to wait 'til it's washed
