Mate you should see the car....
Fookin lovely, keep up the good work Brad.

Thanks ive rolled the arches but still has few scrubbing issues on the rear. Ive got a 5mm spacer on the back to make the BBS to sit flush against the rear drums. Going to try this sunday make the allow ore slighly bigger as without the spacer its around 3-4mm off sitting flush hence the 5mm spacer. The profile on the tires are 50. All the tires have pleny of tread so no point of changing tires just yet. Thinking

Remove 6x9 from parcel shelf fit standard shelf
Alfa Leather interior Black or Red
Rear bumper numberplate recess smaller to the size of the plate

Well a mini update not been on here in a while. Ive managed to remove my 5mm rear spacer. So the 35mm rear springs got whip off today and stuck the 50mm drop back on. Still scrubbing. so that needs to be addressed. Ive now mounted a set of washer jets on my scuttle so can now smooth off my jets off the bonnet.

Here are the jets

I take it the scuttle from a GP wouldn't fit then?!?!

doubt it, for starters the GP is about a foot wider than a mk2 and has a totally different profile around the base of the bonnet and windscreen, its not normally a part thats very interchangeable between cars

Just wondered that was all.
So 1ft wider & about 1.5- 2ft longer?!?!

roughly, it's the same size as the older astra, all modern cars are now the same size as older cars a class above

for example, you used to get

city cars
cinqs, seis, charades, minis, ka, agila etc

superminis
fiesta, punto, corsa, 106, saxo, clio, yaris

small familys
Bravo, brava, focus, escort, astra, 306, xsara, megane

large family car
Mondeo, vectra, cavalier, 406, laguna, avensis, accord, 3-series

exectutive
5-series, e-class etc

large executive
s-class, 7-series

all would be the same size, nowadays though we have city cars the same size as large superminis of the 90's, superminis the same size as small family cars, the small family cars are the same size as large ones 10 years ago, and the large family cars like my mondeo are exactly the same size as teh bmw 5-series and merc e-class a few years ago

the roads havent got bigger though...
