i can get it fitted any time from tomorrow tea time onwards :D

had a play with the exhaust last night, it's not going to be a straight forward job......

still need to do the headlamp, but its a 5 minute job, have all the connectors and the plug in the garage :)

btw, adjusted the bmw's handbrake yesterday aswell, remind me to return that spanner to you! :D

thats not a problem mate we shall have a look at the exhaust as my astra system was similar i just used so steel cable ties to move it slighlty over :D

but yeah tea onwards should be ok i think :) will give you a buzz tomorrow

Right, you need to use the cento loom with a P75 ECU. Then splic the injector wire to connect to the 4 injectors :) .

from mariocinq.

"ming used the cinq loom with punto ecu and spliced the 4 injectors together which is what i was advised to do when i di it cos i gave up trying to figure out how to wire the punto loom in as it was all backwards lol"

ok well the ecu is easy enough to get hold of anyway so ill see how it goes as just a straight swap over with the SPI throttle body

Don't use the SPI Tb, it is much smaller than the P75 tb, SPI is 30mm and P75 is 38mm .......

sounds like it might be better idea sticking with using the head off the seicento and staying spi? When using the P75 ecu you will also need the code box and key.

Ming

thats the intention i have swapped over the heads as the p75 head has a different bolt layout compared to the sei head so i wouldnt be able to use the p75 manifold even if i wanted to at the moment as would have to swap the heads again

can i not disable the key code same way i have done on my seicento ??

bigger throttle body sounds nicer though :D

The mpi tb can be used on the spi, but will need modified so the spi injector can fit

Right i am confused!!!

Are you using the SPI head or MPI head ??? IF SPI head then just use what is on the sei before and the ECU from the sei ....

SPI , MPI are determined by the head not the block, so for example if you used the P75 block and Seicento head, the engine is still SPI.

As for the P75 TB, you don't need to modify to fit the injector (if staying SPI), as you arwe only using the bottem half, but you need to open the TB up so is like a tube instead of curve, craig on FF has a guide on it.

So SPI head or MPI head you are usinG?

Ming

its the spi head that i am using on the p75 bottom block

what i was saying is i had to use it for an easy swap over as would mean a new exhaust system to fit as the manifold has a different layout on the mpi block

so the engine the way it is now will be back to the SPI varity and ill keep the bits to make it mpi later on :)

hmmmm If you don't use the P75 exhaust mani then you need to make a 15mm spacers to extend the cento mani .. which i think is more hassel than using the P75 ex mani.

Seriosuly if it is not too late go with MPI :D . Don't think that much of an issues, as the exhaust mani comes out roughly about the same position as the cento does!

Where about s are you guys :D ? Post code would be nice.

could poss pop up for a weekend to give you a hand ?

Ming

both in dundee at dd3 6ra

as i was saying the p75 manifold has a completly different pattern which means i would have to go and get a downpipe to fit aswell
the spacer is no bother to get hold off

as i wouldnt mind going the whole hog and putting the whole 75 engine in the seicento as what has been said it doesnt seem to bad just need to get a immobiliser bypass chip so dont have to worry about the keys and code side of it :D

ha well see its pretty much finished now just has to be put in the seicento and then swap all sensors and stuff over and that should be that

pint sounds good lmao.

and sensors on block.
tdc
oil pressure
water overheat
inlet pressure thingy/temp not sure what it does
throttle possition sensor

yup thats the ones :D as going to steal the sensor from the newer engine just to give them a try but thanksfully the new engine still had the crank sensor on the bottom intact compared to my half eaten one :D so thats a bonus but now have the oil filter and off to asda now for some oil :D
