We have stop start which has had periods of on and off working for the last 80,000 miles. Most often working these days, which reminds me to turn it off using the button so provided. Anyway replaced the battery myself about 2 years ago with a standard non stop start Excide one (I think) , simply took off the old, fitted the new, no worries. Everything about my professional engineering experience tells me that unless you are a true city driver hitting the stop start every 300 yards a proper 'stop start' battery is a simple way to extract more cash from the consumer.
