Since recently I own a Fiat Fiorino van. It is the "adventure" version. Very nice car. Car was built in 2022 and has a DAIICHI 7 inch multimedia system.

To make parking easier, I would like to install a rear parking camera and connect it to the multimedia system. I was not able to find how I should do that. So I contacted DAIICHI if they had information about how I should connect a camera to their system do this.
They replied that Stellantis-Fiat engineering did not allow them any rear camera availability on this device.
If true, I am disappointed in Fiat. Don't really understand why you would limit your customers this way. A parking camera should be an available option on any media system today imo.
So I wonder what are my alternatives/options now?
The media system supports Android Auto. So maybe a wireless camera could work with that?
Install another media system that supports a rear camera?
Since this is a van, it is missing an interior mirror. Maybe add one that has a screen for the camera?
