Anyone know of a decent garage? Someone that actually knows the product?

Ello mate. I'me from East London.

What exactly do u need doing. I usually take my car to a family run business called Sejoc in Tilbury. They are off the A13, just after Lakeside.

Just had a service there on my HGT and they seem OK. They are actually barchetta specialists but deal in Italian cars. HGT cambelt change £575.

Thank you sir.

Servicing prices seem reasonable.

Do they look after the car, treat it with respect or do you have to drive it away with grease marks on the pedals, seat and steering wheel.

Is Desira in Hayes REALLY bad? Never been there, but I pass it every day.

Re: Re: Re: Re: FIAT specialist or dealer in West London?

Stay away!!

Every bit of work they performed on my car meant another visit to rectify other faults that they had caused.

The final biscuit was when they changed the cambelt for the third time and the destroyed a sensor (don't know the precise name) which determines which cylinder to fire first when starting.

When looking at the old part, the cable interface had been mangled. They had the audacity to ask me to pay for it. Literally, this happened the very same day I picked up the car. All way too coincidental.

Did they accept responsibility?
At, first they didn't want to know. Then they offered to pay for the labour.

Shocking garage, seriously, they are cackola.
The parts dept is ok though, friendly guy who does what he says.

Service department, there is a guy - Phil Hamblin, who does his best to calm you down when they hand you the bill, unfortunately, knows jack about the cars so you sit there explaining everything to him and end up getting wound up.

I thought as much. I only went into the parts dept. And the guy was really helpful. I needed one of the covers for the back of the headlight, where you put the bulbs in. They don't stock that part so he got one off a new light for me. He couldn't separate the part on the computer so he could charge. I offered a couple of quid, but he said no thanks...good guy. As for the rest of the garage I'll be staying away then.

desira......RUN AWAY!!!!!!!!

I bought my bravo there... bloody hell.. they put supa guard stuff on the paint work which caused it to bubble in places... it took me 5 months to get a refund but they didnt sort the paint work out!!!

I sent my car in for repair after a parkin ding in the rear quarter... few months later the lacquer started to peel. They refused to fix it because the car was repaired by their external bodyshop.... still no justice on top of that i found out from FIAT UK that they're not even authorised warrenty repairers... any work there will invalid ur warrenty BE CAREFUL.... JUST STAY AWAY!!!!

After the car came back from DTR it was alot cleaner then when I took it in. They seem to be pretty passoinate about all things Italian so I think the cars are in safe hands.
