Stanford Hall 2012

Set a date for Sunday June 3rd at Stanford Hall for Auto Italia’s annual concours event. There are plans for some additional attractions at this centrally located stately home including amusements for the younger visitor and the opportunity to enjoy a weekend break in the Hall’s newly available accommodation. The manicured lawns will once again be host to a wide variety of top quality Italian cars including the UK’s largest annual gathering of Maserati cars.

Whats is this event?

Great cars in a great location. The UK’s finest Italian cars will once again be gathering at this stately home venue. Centrally located and with easy motorway access, Stanford Hall provides a lovely backdrop flanked by acres of well trimmed grass. As usual the special lawned area in front of the Hall has been set aside for the concours display that will once again feature the National Fiat and Abarth Concours, Lancias and other selected special cars.

The FF Stand

Of course there will be all your fabby cars on show. There will also be our infamous FF BBQ like last year, with loads of goodies. You'll be able to mingle with all the members and staff and have a chin wag (it doesn't even have to be about cars ;)) Have a look at last years pics here:

Added FF Goodies

In line with our new events plans, we've got a few extras available for you.

On arrival, you're welcome to come and join our tea and coffee morning - all complimentary of course, this will then be followed at around 1pm with the FF BBQ, brought to you by our fantastic inhouse chefs... (or something like that).

Then, as lunch winds down - we've got the raffle - with a number of goodies to win - yay!

How do I signup?

Well firstly EVERYONE IS WELCOME and indeed the more the merrier :) - there's just a few things we ask of you:

  1. Please click the "Add Me" link at the top of this thread, choosing how many +1s you will bring (if any)
  2. Fill in the Event Registration form found in your user control panel (we use this to make the name badges as well as try and plan a design a bit)

WHEN YOU ARRIVE... and have parked up, please come over to the main tent to collect your name badges. If you haven't clicked "Add Me", or are bringing guests - you will need to register on site - just need a few details and a badge will be made for you on the spot.

PLEASE REMEMBER TO DO THIS - we need this for 2 reasons - 1) So we know who turned up and 2) So we can contact you throughout the day for whatever reason.

Accomodation

If your travelling a long way and want to make a holiday of it the grounds have accommodation and a caravan park:

Looking forward to this and hope to make it a weekend break, might even look into staying at the Hall if it is affordable.

Can I just remind attendees to fill in their "Roll Call" details so that badges can be printed in advance and be ready for collection at the FF Marquee. (y)

Does anyone know how much it is to stay over per night? Or any hotels near by?

Thinking of coming seen as this is one of the biggest FF events of the year ;)

Really tempted by this, potential to show my face at a first meet. My GP is coming along nciely also so should be looking tip'top for this...

Its local too, 1 junction down the M6 for me.

I seem to recall the Scotland guys camped somewhere near by either last year or the year before, no idea on cost. Could maybe see about a Travelodge or something? There's bound to be one fairly local.

We stayed at the Travellodge just down the motorway from Stanford Hall about 15mins drive by 126 lol cost us £19 per night i think. The caravan park next to Stanford hall is £14 per night including hook up point. I also tried emailing the Hall to see how much it would be to stay in the big house but the email bounced back think grimwau was also looking into staying in the big house too though.
ben and M60TYN stayed at a little lodge place last year dunno about the prices think you could camp there too we tried to get a load of folk staying over last year but noone really went for it in the end (y)
