Since having the first (2 years, 12000 mile) oil and filter change the yellow warning light to warn of the oil pressure warning light failure comes on occasionally on my 2017 2.3 Ducato Motorhome. This seems to be a common problem with these engines and often seems to occur after an oil change service. Any suggestions as to what the cause may be?

Educated guess:

The garage didnt reset all the necessary parameters in the ECU.

Common issue with the diesel cars unfortunately :(

Could be real low pressure too e.g.
Wrong oil viscocity, dilution of oil due to multiple failed regenerations, wrong filter, fake filter, blocked sump strainer etc.

Bring it back to the dealer.

Hows the oil level, how does the oil look/feel/smell.

Hi, On my van 2.3/150bhp 2014 every time I first start the van I get a message saying "Low Oil pressure stop and turn of the Engine" and then it disappears. Its been like that from about 6 months old, and neither my Fiat Professional Dealer or Fiat themselves couldn't fix it. I just keep an eye on the oil level.

That's usually when it take a little too long to build up pressure
