Hope someone can help with what "should" be a relatively simple thing. :)

I'm looking to replace one of the upper rear-door-hinge-bolts on a 2016 Ducato van with a bolt that incorporates a towing eye, eg :

If you're wondering why?
I'd like to have a simple, easy point to tie one end of a hammock to! :D
Or - in a similar vein - tie a body-weight exercise strap to.

So - all I'm really looking for initially is the specs for those bolts: Length, diameter, thread specification, so that I can start to look for either an existing product, or get someone to weld up a replacement bolt.

The hinge is this type :

Is there an online parts fiche that I can look through and figure out what I need?

Bolts are M8, an M8 eyebolt is only rated to about 150kg

Cheers for that! Last I checked I was only about 80Kg (and half the weight will be on the other end as well) so I think that should work out. ;)

If only physics were so simple. The shear force depends on the angle of the hammock / lines, at 80kg and 45 degrees the shear force on the bolt could be 40kg at 80kg and 5 degrees on the other hand the shear force on the bolt could be 450kg. Drop your ass into the hammock and you multiply your 80kg etc.
