Finally after trying the original roof aerial, a mag mount dab aerial and a permanent roof mounted and amplified aerial (both from Dabonwheels)
I've sorted the reception!

Rolled out the 9 year old Pure Highway (using mag mount as amplified doesn't work on this) (88 channels after searching as opposed 47 On Uconnect)
Only 1 drop out between rugby- M Keynes- Wellingborough and Gateshead! Not every miles on Uconnect

Oh and now also have an up to date sat nav map!!! Not the 2yr old one on Uconnect

Worth the Uconnect upgrade !??

Guess it's not reached down under yet mate,
When it works! It's good, some Medium Wave radio like BBC 5 live (sport) TalkSPORT we get on DAB digital clear sound, unfortunately some stereos pull a good signal in (subject to antenna quality) and some don't,

I've been trying the std antenna, a mag mount, and a roof mounted amplified one (I had this on old van with a kenwood dab head unit) was awesome, fiat head unit couldn't pull a flea in! But my 9 year old dab receiver pulls twice the channels in, good sound (through Aux in) and never drops a signal unless a tunnel or under some bridges and mountainous terrain

Crap quality, waste of £££,
