Question Dualogic crunches/grinds selecting reverse

Hi all, my first post here. Can anyone recommend a workshop to take my 2015 Doblo 1.6D 5 speed dualogic(semi-auto) van to have the dualogic system checked/repaired in north west Tasmania(Burnie)? To all you non-Aussies Tasmania is the island state south of the Australian mainland with a population of approx 500,000. Not many Fiats here and Doblo's are as rare as hens teeth, I've seen one other one while on the road. My van has started crunching going into reverse so it's possibly the electro-hydraulic clutch system at fault. My thought is as it doesn't crunch going into first that could be syncro on the forward gears that prevents it at this stage. Any recommendation on local Tasmanian dualogic competent workshops, and insights/advice into the crunching reverse selection appreciated, and is there any clutch adjustment, thanks.

Hi

Im on the other side of the planet..
But do know where Tassie is

Have a read of the Duologic thread for the GrandePunto.. its the same system
The clutch bite point IS 'adjustable'..
But needs software - MULTIECUSCAN is very good

https://www.fiatforum.com/grande-punto-guides/439619-dualogic-troubleshooting-guide.html

As an aside.. replacing the rear engine mount 'dogbone' improved gearchanges on my manual Grande

Checking the engine mounts for excessive movement could be very cost effective

Hey mate,

Considering that this is the same box they used in many Alfa's and other Fiat models, and even some Citroen's, you might want to find an independent mechanic that specialises in Alfa/Fiat. Do not take it to the dealer. They will rip you a new one.
We have a few good independents here in Melbourne, so I'm assuming it would be similar there.
