Hi,

Been looking to buy a wee van for my wee business (going self employed as an electrician). Anyway seen a doblo on gumtree, contacted the seller and he tells me about the ignition barrel being broke and now the ignition is on a switch kit? Does this sound dodgy? Should I not even waste my time going through and seeing the van? Or is this a legit fix for the problem?

Also what would you value it at.

2001 Doblo Cargo, 170k Miles (fully serviced to 160k) starter motor has gone (starter motor supplied with the van) but seller says it bump starts within the length of itself. And also the ignition fault also.

Any help appreciated!

2002 cargo 1.9 diesel with 106k on the clock has recently sold on ebay for a shade under £900.
I wouldn't want to mess about with ignition switch & having to install starter motor. Surely your time is more precious?

there are plenty of doblos to chose from, no need to buy a bodged one, it shows lest money possible has been spent keeping it on the road, so probably be more problems

off topic sorry but is this legal?
