What's the chassis number?

The ePer system is pretty accurate but over time Fiat might rationalise its parts stock by making a new single part that fits several models that had different parts.. so you could end up with a substituted part that is very different to your old one.

Better than a broken one.. yes.

Are there no numbers visible on your old broken cable?

In similar situations.. I search ebay.. then compare the images from the 1st page of ads.

AND .. if their search system gets you the wrong part...you can at least swap it.
