okay so my VAD turbo cinq has done 90k and im thinking that i should start saving my pennies for a rebuild before i look at bodywork etc

so what i need is the engine specs of the high boost conversion so i can get some quotes for the work. did email VAD but they seem to have a virtual paper shredder for there emails

not really looking to uprate the engine for big boost(though it would be nice ) so any input into what i should be lookiing to get done etc is welcomed

wont be doing the work myself as (a) its out of my league and (b) ive no garage etc to do the work in

so does anyone have any ideas on how many pennies i need to save up from my paper round.

Speak to Douglas at East of Scotland Engineering, 0131 4585456, tell him I sent you,and he will discuss your requirements.

He did all the work on my N/A 1108 and did a lot of homework on availbility of parts

just an update,finally got a hold of VAD(turbo cinqy sorted me out with a direct phone no. )
looks like on my engine they used shortened pistons rather than a sandwich plate on the head. seems they only used standard pistons and got them machined down so the games afoot.
