Hi folks.

Has anyone fitted a coolant sensor to an MPI Seicento?

Mine is a 2001 Seicento Schumacher.

I drained the coolant and unbolted the sensor but it wouldn't budge.

Do you have to remove the inlet manifold to release it ?

its a right pain in the arse to get out.i removed the whole piece that the sensor is fitted in as only 2 bolts.lots easier to change on the bench.

When you removed the 2 bolts did you have to pull the sensor block sideways out of the inlet manifold to get it off?

just gave it a wiggle and it came straight off.
