I have been having a fuelk issue with my car where the guage will randomly from from a quater to empty once it reaches a certain point, ok so i took the unit out of the tank and for some reason the back bottom dosent come out, i got it out in the end tho, but its not going to go back in without a bit of a push which may damage it!

im thinking i may have a pump from another car.

how does the pump assembly come out of the tank , bottom bowl thing is to big do you have to prise his off first ..

b**** well it did come out 1/4 of a turn and gentle pries the last bit out that catches on the ring ..
pattern replacement tank it is very poor fit ,to get the bolts lined up . no bolts for clips for fuel breather pipes ,
god i hate this crawling on the floor under the car im too od for it now

02 mpi late fittintting early cheap tank with the extra mount flang on the side which you can ignore

DONT forget both rubber seals on the pipes ,,use a bit of grease or petroleum jelly to easy them on if you have to
and two jubliee clips on the large filler tube
