hey guys and girls again, having lots of fun in my "cornbeef tin" as my mates call it.

Heres my problem, i have a Big Drive this saturday, approx 170 miles (120 of which are motorway)

How much petrol do you think it will take to get me there? as i need to get some cash together to pay for it,

got a 899cc Sei SX, W reg, 56700 miles,

Any help welcomed thanks

if you think you have a big drive then i will be doin 700 miles over fri and sat. just to get some bits but seeing as im down south im seeing family so that adds abit on and totals up to around 700miles not looking forward to petrol costs

dunno, but it cost me £15 to go from bedford and back, which is about 160miles

thats on a 1.1 cinq

I go by the rough idea that i can do 10 miles to the £1, so about £17 for your trip, plus a few quid to be sure.

That sounds about right to me - however, you can increase the cost if you have a car full of adults and luggage

Don't forget quicker is not cheaper - ease off on the right foot to increase your fuel economy.

How much do people normally get from a tank?

I used to only get 220 miles til the petrol light came on... but since I had a replacement tank put in from the Seicento recall, i get about 280!?!

This normal?

You cannot go by the light. Fill the car to the brim, then do the same once you done whatever mileage, and that will give you your true consumption.
