purchased a abarth exhaust trim off ebay. in the ionstructions it says trim existing exhaust with a haxk saw. i now have tried a hack saw and a jigsaw while the exhaust is still on the car, and its just left marks on exhaust, its not cutting it. how do i cut existing exhaust any ideas????

what could be sharper than the blade im using. is it possible to trim the exhaust while its on the car, also im taking off around 2 inches

i think m ine is a standard exhaust. iv used a jigsaw, hacksaw alsorts, all iv got is a 2mm deep cut. the exhaust seems to have a thickness of atleast 4/5 mm. i really dont know what to do????

I doubt its 4-5mm.. Is the blade in your hacksaw any good? A jigsaw wont do anything on metal. Know anyone with an angle grinder? If not get a new metal (steel) blade for Mr. Hacksaw and someone to hold the exhaust as still as possible.

lol, ok a bit of an exaguration. safe, ill get a new mr hacksaw tommorow, in the xmas rush. ill put up pics once ive done so you all can hav a gud laugh, (hopefully)
