Hi all had my Barch tipped up on its side for some Floor Repairs now its back on its wheels the Doors wont open tried interior and external handles plus door locks so not locked anybody any ideas.........
If the doors are 'unlocked' but wont open, they must be jammed. The welding on the floor may have distorted the whole car. Can you see a difference in the gaps at the rear of the door edges particularly at the top?
Thats a good sign. So, do the door handles 'feel' like they are doing something positive? It sounds as though the linkages have disengaged when the body has not been upright.
If a few robust taps around the door mechanism won’t persuade them to operate, I guess taking the interior door cards off and having a look inside to see what is or not happening.

I thought the same Dave. Unless car has been rolled onto both sides! I can recall coming across a Sunbeam Alpine upside down with people trapped because rod links had come off.
Just looked at a spare lock that I have. For you not to be able to undo the door you would have to have two of the rods come off.one from the inside door handle and one from the outside.
Actually no I've just had another look
The inside door handle link operates the opening of the lock. The out side handle opens the lock via the inside handle. So only one rod will have come off.
Will try n strip the buggers in the next few days had one open when i let it down to change sides but when i tipped it again to finish the floors it locked up again, weird.....
